Career

Jens Kunzmann has been working almost exclusively in the field of intellectual property for over 20 years. He specializes in national and international license agreements, research and development cooperation and employee invention law. Another focus is on litigation in patent, trademark and competition law.

Jens Kunzmann has been a lecturer at the University of Cologne and at the University of Münster since 2010. In addition, he regularly gives lectures and seminars – among other things within the scope of his training as a specialist lawyer – and publishes on various topics of intellectual property law. He has also been a member of the GRUR’s Expert Committee on Inventions Law since 2013.

He received his legal education at the Universities of Trier and Norwich (England) as well as in Cologne. Before joining CBH, Jens Kunzmann worked as an in-house counsel for a large German pharmaceutical and chemical company in the field of intellectual property law.

JUVE lists Jens Kunzmann as a frequently recommended attorney in patent law (Handbook 16/17, 17/18) and as a “well-known expert in employee invention law” (Handbook 09/10).
