Insolvency and corporate recovery

Within: Insolvency and corporate recovery

The insolvency department at Furley Page Solicitors provides an 'effective service' during corporate insolvencies and claims by or against directors, with special emphasis on the construction industry. 'Open, clear and honest' Chatham-based associate Natasha Biggs represented a distributor and installer of audio-visual equipment in its retention-of-title claims against the liquidators of a nightclub in order to recover assets that were taken after the nightclub had closed. Another highlight was a £600,000 misfeasance claim issued against two clients who are former company directors, where Biggs was assisted by dispute resolution team lead Peter Hawkes in Canterbury. The third member in the team is insolvency and civil litigation partner George Crofton Martin.
