Seth Asante, who heads the financial services and capital markets group, advised African Export-Import Bank and Mashreq Bank on their accession to a $150m swap arrangement with the Bank of Ghana. Frank Nimako Akowuah was promoted to partner in March 2018 and is another contact in the team.

In another highlight, Asante assisted an oil and gas-sector client with the establishment of a medium-term notes programme.
