Kehinde is a versatile commercial lawyer, with experience in advising on several complex and innovative transactions. Kehinde lead the team advising Greenville Oil and Gas Limited, in connection with the development of a mini liquefied natural gas project in Rumuiji, Rivers State for the purpose of supplying liquefied natural gas to the Nigerian domestic gas market via virtual pipelines. Kehinde is also co-leading the team advising the Board of Trustees, Ogoni Trust Fund, a body set up to manage and disburse the One Billion United States Dollars (US$1,000,000,000) Ogoni Trust Fund, which is to be applied towards the environmental rehabilitation of Ogoniland, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Furthermore, Kehinde is currently leading the team advising the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (“NNPC”) and its subsidiaries on several novel and important transactions, including the proposed transition of its UJV arrangements with indigenous oil companies, into a fully-fledged IJV. Kehinde is also co-leading the team advising contractors and financiers in connection with the conceptualization, structuring, development, construction and financing of the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano pipeline.
Kehinde was admitted to the Firm’s Partnership in 2014 and has extensive experience advising leading Nigerian and International clients on Shipping and Transport, Oil and Gas, Power and Corporate & Commercial Law transactions. With close to twenty (20) years of experience, Kehinde is a multi-faceted lawyer with a flair for assessing, understanding and resolving intricate and highly challenging commercial transactions across a range of practice areas.
His rich experience in both the Energy and Shipping and Transport sectors, ensures that he offers first-class expertise and astute advisory services on several complex and landmark transactions to his clients, both in Nigeria and internationally. Kehinde is the leading adviser on crude oil forward sale arrangements and prepayment financing in the country.
Kehinde is also renowned for his negotiation skills, painstaking dedication and penchant for hard work and commercially driven approach to his resolution of legal issues. He has firmly established himself as a lawyer who handles very complex Shipping and Aviation matters in the Nigerian market.

He obtained his law degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and a Masters’ Degree in Law from the University of Newcastle, England.
