Sobashni is a director in the litigation department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. She has obtained formidable success through strategy and technical awareness with considerable experience in settling claims using alternative dispute resolution through negotiations, mediation and conciliation.

Sobashni has extensive experience in the High Court and the County Courts litigating numerous matters. She recently advised a client on a complex £300m High Court litigation involving international law.

She encourages ADR throughout proceedings and regularly settles claims through extensive negotiations, mediation, and conciliation.

Career

Sobashni qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and joined Duncan Lewis in 2014. She was appointed a partner-level director in the litigation department in 2015.

Education

Sobashni qualified with an LLB (Hons) from University of London, obtained a first class at Attorneys at Law and was called to the Bar in 2002 (Ceylon). Sobashni cross-qualified through BPP Law School and was admitted as a solicitor in 2005.
