Work Department

Mr. de Alba’s practice focuses on media and communications; public utilities; mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures; shipping litigation; government contracts, concessions and privatizations; and government permits and administrative matters.

Position

At present, Mr. de Alba is a retired partner and serves as counsel to the firm primarily in the areas of corporate law, with an equally outstanding participation in the maritime, regulatory and litigation practice.

Career

Eduardo de Alba joined the firm in 1975 and became a partner in 1984.

Mr. de Alba is an accomplished Partner with extensive experience in the areas of public and private contracts, M&A, corporate law, utilities regulation, oil production and distribution, media and communications, arbitration and shipping litigation.

A strong lawyer with skills in different disciplines, he has a solid background in drafting legislation, including the Panama Canal Constitutional Amendment and enabling legislation.
