Senior partner and co-founder of WKB, co-head of the Insurance practice, co-head of the dispute resolution pratice.
As a co-head of the Insurance and Litigation & Dispute Resolution practices. He has over 35 years of experience in litigation and arbitration. He has acted in a number of high-profile cases representing Poland’s leading insurance and construction companies, as well as clients from other regulated industries, including in matters regarding unfair competition. Tomasz also has significant expertise in advising clients in day-to-day corporate, restructuring and public procurement matters. He was involved as an expert in various legislative proceedings and is an author or a co-author of over 60 legal publications, including commentaries on Public Procurement Law, the Act on Municipal Property Management and the Act on Competition and Consumer Protection.

Tomasz graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, he also holds the degree of doktor in law.
WKB Wiercinski, Kwiecinski, Baehr‘s dispute resolution lawyers are most active in the construction and infrastructure disputes space, handling high-profile domestic and international litigation and arbitrations. The group is also developing experience in relation to competition, insurance, IP and employment cases. Bartłomiej Jankowski sits at the head of the practice, and takes the lead on cross-border construction disputes. Tomasz Kwieciński‘s practice spans insurance, competition and public procurement cases. Jordan Zafirow is noted for contentious infrastructure matters, and has expertise in FIDIC contracts.
The insurance practice at WKB Wiercinski, Kwiecinski, Baehr acts for domestic and foreign insurance and distributors. The practice benefits from the support of the firm’s M&A, dispute resolution, contract law and consumer law teams, representing clients before the Polish consumer, competition and financial regulators. The team is jointly led by business-insurance expert Jakub Pokrzywniak and co-founder Tomasz Kwieciński who is a litigation and arbitration specialist.
