Career

Olivier Delprat has practiced Industrial Property Law since 1994. After several years of experience in a large law firm, he joined CASALONGA & ASSOCIÉS in 2001 of which he became a partner in 2006.

Olivier is in charge of procedures for granting patents in France, in Europe and other countries as well as opposition proceedings at the European Patent Office (EPO).

His activities cover various fields of mechanics, electronics and electrical engineering including: automobile mechanics; digital signal processing; power electronics; mobile phone; medical device, such as medical imaging systems and processes.

His long experience allowed him to acquire a recognized expertise in court litigation. He collaborates closely with CASALONGA AVOCATS in many patent litigations both in the French courts and abroad, in various fields of mechanics and electronics. He frequently organizes infringement-seizure operations to obtain evidence of patent infringement.

Olivier’s activities also cover the areas of contracts, IP right valuation, audit of patent portfolios and due diligence.
