UGGC Avocats' experienced 12-lawyer team advises on major public procurement contracts and projects and related litigation. The practice recently assisted Conair in responding to the Home Affairs Ministry's tender offer for the acquisition of fire-fighting aircraft. The practice also represents key clients in the transport sector and advises on regulatory and other public law issues. Acting for Imperial Tobacco, the firm obtained the partial annulment of the new neutral cigarettes packaging regulation by the Conseil d'État. Another time, the practice successfully obtained recognition of the French state's ownership of fragments of Chartres Cathedral before the Paris Court of Appeal. SNCF is also a client. Practice head Thierry Dal Farra is highly regarded. Other key members of the team are Philippe Hansen, Franck Lepron and new addition Henri Paul, who joined as of counsel after serving at the Court of Auditors, bringing a deep knowledge of French administrative bodies.

The team recently handled both significant contentious and advisory matters; Ponsard represented Switch in its follow-on damages claim following the regulator's decision to fine the SNCF €7m.
