As an instrumental part in founding Flint Bishop’s management board, Qamer is shaping the future of the organisation through innovation of legal services throughout the UK.

He is the practice head for our Debt Recovery and Dispute Resolution teams, driving them all to achieve Legal 500 Top Tier status.

Qamer also single-handedly built up the firm’s Insurance Litigation team, which is now one of the East Midlands’ largest defendant insurance teams.

It generates a large volume of high-value and complex work, which includes dilapidations claims, issues arising from lease renewals, easements, restrictive covenants and beneficial interest claims, among many other areas. Ghafoor handles a broad-cross section of cases, and has a particular interest in emergency remedies proceedings and property related negligence claims. Nick Wells and Andrew Cochrane are noted for their experience of acting for clients in the licensed trade sector; Wells, in particular, is increasingly being sought-out for advice on matters connected with the new statutory Pubs Code. The practice has recently increased its emphasis on pre-legal work, developing a new multi-stage recovery process that uses different communication methods.
