Sofie has been a partner at Gernandt & Danielsson since 2019 and co-heads the firm’s banking & finance practice. Her practice includes all aspects of debt financing within syndicated and bilateral loans (leverage and investment grade), direct lending, off-balance sheet financings, high yield bonds, and other capital markets financings such as MTN and EMTN programmes and hybrid instruments. In addition, her practice covers financial restructurings and pre-insolvency workouts with a particular focus on complex company reorganisations and reconstructions in debt capital markets. Sofie has extensive experience in international and Nordic transactions in a number of different industries and represents both borrowers/issuers and lenders/arrangers, as well as private equity sponsors.
