Bob Bekker possesses extensive knowledge and experience in the area of real estate transactions and the development of residential and utility construction projects. He advises and conducts litigation on behalf of developers, contractor-developers, financiers, institutional investors, municipalities and end-users and assists clients in complex negotiations, in the realization of large-scale real estate transactions (selling and leasing) and joint-ventures (whether public-private joint ventures or not), as well as in the avoidance of (potential) disputes.

Bob regularly acts as a trusted advisor to the Management Boards and Boards of Directors of a number of major real estate companies in the Netherlands. In that regard, he is regularly asked to provide advice in relation to strategic real estate issues and to intervene in order to prevent a potential conflict. Alongside all of these activities, Bob also lectures at the Instituut voor Bouwrecht in The Hague.

Bob has worked at Lexence since 2011. Prior to this, he worked at Baker & McKenzie and CMS Derks Star Busman, amongst others.

Bob obtained his degree in Dutch law from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and finished (cum laude) the postgraduate studies in real estate at the Grotius Academie. Bob was admitted to the Bar in 1993.
