Jan-Willem Raadgever specializes in construction law, real estate and tendering law. He advises developers, authorities, contractors and stakeholders such as landowners, in the field of large-scale and complex legal territorial developments. He regularly proceeds before arbitration institutes like the Constructional Arbitration Institute.

Jan-Willem is guest lecturer at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. He publishes regularly and is editor of the journal on Vastgoedcontracten (contracts in real estate) where he is responsible for prototype contracts with architects, advisors and building companies. He is a member of the Vereniging voor Bouwrecht (Construction Law Association) and of the Vereniging van Huurrecht Advocaten (Leasing Lawyers Association). Jan-Willem is fluent in German.

Education

Jan-Willem received his master’s degree at Universiteit Utrecht in law with a dual major (company, social and economic law, and corporate law). He also completed the postgraduate studies in real estate at Grotius Academie. Jan-Willem was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 1991.
