Ms. Yücel is a partner in the employment & labor and dispute resolution practice groups. She is the resident expert in employment and labor negotiations. She also specializes in commercial litigation, intellectual property, and unfair competition. She has an extensive background in individual and collective labor dispute resolution, having negotiated many successful high-profile collective bargaining agreements. She assists our firm's employment clients in all issues concerning their employment-related needs including not only the contract, settlement, and dispute phases but also in building up a comprehensive employment law strategy in order to minimize future legal and financial exposure. She has also played a key role in numerous international arbitration cases that our firm has handled, resulting in favorable results for our clients.


Having joined the firm in 2005, Bige was a senior associate in the dispute resolution and commercial practice group before being promoted to partner in 2016.

Ms. Yücel is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association, the Etik Değerler Merkezi (EDMER) – Ethical Values Center Association, and the Alumni Association of St. George’s Austrian High School.


Ms. Yücel received her Bachelor of Laws from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2002, and a Master of Law & Economics from Istanbul Bilgi University School of Law in 2008.

Hergüner Bilgen Özeke is adept at handling cross-border employment disputes, litigation, labour negotiations, restructurings, collective bargaining, terminations and employee transfers. Recent highlights include continuing to act for a US sportswear and footwear retailer in relation to employment lawsuits initiated by former employees and five pre-litigation mediation processes, as well as providing advice on day-to-day employment-related matters. Clients include Bloomberg, Mars and Manpower. Bige Yücel and Ufuk Yalçın jointly head the team.
