Partner, Head of Personal Injury and Medical Negligence
Career
I head the Personal Injury and Medical Negligence team at Fieldfisher. As part of that role, I lead the Clinical Negligence team.
I act solely for Claimants who have been catastrophically injured by complex medical accidents.
The combination of my medical and legal training enables me to meticulously analyse each case and cut to the issues quickly and thoroughly. I work tirelessly to help clients rebuild their lives by securing early funds for the best possible care and rehabilitation, including moving to adapted accommodation where needed. Early intervention during the course of a claim helps restore the lives and independence of the injured and their families.
My particular expertise includes:
- Birth injury claims: Obstetric and midwifery claims
- Wrongful birth claims
- Fetal medicine claims
- Oncology claims involving delays in diagnosis and error in treatment
- Cases involving amputation
- Adult acquired brain injury as a result of medical accident
- Fatal accident claims
Where appropriate, I work with the media to highlight clinical negligence issues in the public interest. I have featured across more than 100 different media outlets and am regularly interviewed on television news channels.
