Position

Dr. Eveline Ankaert is a counsel in our Employment, Pensions & Benefits practice and a member of Lydian’s Health team.

Eveline specializes in both individual and collective employment law in general and has a particular focus on:

Education

When Eveline joined Lydian in February 2012 as a Senior Associate, she brought with her seven years of experience as a PhD researcher and teaching assistant at the Institute for Social Law at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). Eveline holds a Law degree from the Ghent University. ) Additionally, she obtained the degree of Doctor of Laws at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in 2012. Her PhD, entitled “Law enforcement and the medical profession. Evaluation of administrative and disciplinary enforcement measures of healthcare delivery” was published by die Keure in 2013. Eveline was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2015.

Since 2015, Eveline joined the Institute for Labour Law at the University of Leuven as a voluntary assistant. In that role she is responsible for the coaching of master students with their thesis and she assists with the pleading sessions.

Lydian‘s team comprises a large roster of employment and pensions specialists capable of advising Belgian and multinational clients as well as notable individuals on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
