Joacim is leading the way as the head of Setterwalls’ FinTech division where he focuses his practice primarily on the FinTech and technology sectors – offering expert legal guidance where law, technology, and business seamlessly converge.

With over two decades of active legal practice, Joacim has acquired extensive knowledge and understanding of the IP/technology and FinTech sectors by providing commercial critical advice on a broad spectrum of domestic and cross-border FinTech matters, intellectual property issues and with legal issues arising with FinTech’s entry to the mainstream. His clients are international and domestic Swedish investors, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and financial institutions as well as tech companies.

Additionally, Joacim’s expertise is also highly sought-after for projects operationally related to traditional IP/technology work, such as negotiating and managing contract negotiations for major, complex contracts and legal proceedings linked to areas such as IT systems, outsourcing, OEM, licences, and associated services.
