ULF DJURBERG is head of Setterwall’s EU and competition law department, which includes specialist groups on Antitrust, Merger Control, Public Procurement, State Aid, Regulatory, Trade, Anti Corruption & Special Investigations and Adminstrative law. Ulf has considerable experience in disputes regarding competition law issues and has been counsel in cases before both national courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union, i.e. in the well-known Gourmet-case, which he successfully ran before the Court of Justice of the European Union. His cases over the years have been diverse and include the opening up of the ground handling and tax-free markets in Sweden, various notifications to the EU Commission and questions regarding abuse of dominant position and the free movement of goods. Ulf has also worked with worldwide antitrust and anti-corruption investigations and litigation regarding legal privilege issues and community development projects, strategic alliances and drafting of distribution agreements for various sectors of the economy. Moreover, Ulf has strong focus towards public procurement and state aid related matters including strategic advice to suppliers and contracting entities.
