Position

Lorentz advises public authorities and private companies and individuals, primarily within the areas Public Procurement, Public Contracts and Swedish Foundation Law.

He has considerable experience of providing legal and strategic advice to both private and public actors regarding the different types of questions that arise in public-private relations. Lorentz regularly assists clients both in large and complex procurements, such as major infrastructure projects, and in day-to-day type of matters, such as questions regarding the rules on public access to information and secrecy. He regularly represents clients in court, mainly in public procurement review procedures and other types of procedures in the administrative courts (for example regarding permits and appeals of other types of administrative decisions by public entities).

Within the area of Foundation law, Lorentz has a broad and in-depth experience of advising clients regarding the establishment and management of foundations, particularly as regards the preparation and amendment of statutes and strategic and legal questions regarding the board of directors’ responsibilities. He regularly represents foundations in contacts with the Swedish authorities. He has particular experience working with international non-profit organizations interested in establishing a local Swedish organization.
