Career

From 1991 to 2004, Mr. Sergei Mashonsky worked at state government bodies, including Ministry of Economics, Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, at diplomatic and consular service. For several years, he performed the functions of the Secretary of the Currency and Credit Committee of the Council of Ministers. He worked as part of practice and expert groups of state authorities of the Republic of Belarus on drafting of legislative acts, participated in development and signing of a number of international treaties. In 2018, he was elected as Independent Director and member of the Supervisory Committee of the ASB Consult company.

Mr. Mashonsky is in the task force for formation of the favourable investment image of the Republic of Belarus abroad with the Advisory Council for Foreign Investments with the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus. He is a member of the task force for development of amendments and supplements to the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Public Private Partnership”. Mr. Sergei Mashonsky is an expert of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Court for review of disputes in application of anti-dumping, compensatory and special protective measures that represents the Republic of Belarus.
