Position

Rhoddy is the head of the firm's private client department and specialises in advising UK-based families and individuals, particularly the owners of landed estates and heritage properties, on planning for succession and capital taxation.

Career

Trained at Burges Salmon (and qualified in 1980). Rhoddy was a partner at Wilsons in Salisbury from 1985 to 2010 and senior partner there from 2002 to 2005. He joined Farrer & Co as a partner in 2010.

Member

The Tax Committee of the Estates Business Group, Taxation and Political Committee of the Historic Houses Association, Committee of the Land Trusts Association, and STEP. Rhoddy is a trustee of the Stanley Picker Charitable Trust and a member of the Council Investment Committee and Finance and General Purposes Committee of the Council of The Royal College of Music.
