She advises both claimants and defendants and provides advice from the pre-action stages of litigation up to and including trial. Jo also works with the media team assisting in a broad range of claims representing both the press and those subject to media attention.

She studied Modern History at Christ Church, Oxford, and converted later to law at the College of Law in Guildford
