Fleur is a senior member and driving force of our arbitration team.
She specialises in commercial and treaty arbitration. Fleur has dedicated most of her professional career to arbitration and related proceedings (setting aside and enforcement) before the Dutch courts and is adept at arbitration under most of the international arbitration rules.
Fleur clerked in District Court of The Hague from 2008 onwards, before commencing her career as an advocate at an international law firm in Amsterdam and, through secondment, in London. She obtained a prestigious post-graduate diploma in international commercial arbitration at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 2018.
Fleur is a board member of the NAI under 40 committee and recommended in Legal 500. In 2018, she was elected by clients, peers and an esteemed jury as Dutch national Legal Women Upcoming Talent 2018. Fleur further contributes to the arbitration and broader legal communities through publishing legal articles and lecturing at universities and to new advocates at the Amsterdam-based lawfirms in the ‘Law Firm School’.
