The Wikborg Rein Singapore office has been involved in some of the most significant casualties and maritime disputes in the market on both the wet and the dry side of the business and continues to be a trusted partner of many global blue water fleets, chartering operators, and insurers . We regularly accept large scale instructions from the P&I and Hull markets in relation to collisions, groundings and salvage work. We also advise on and resolve disputes involving all aspects of charterparties, bills of lading, COAs, insurance, shipbuilding, commodities, offshore and S&P matters. This means we have experience in running English law mediations and arbitrations of an international nature in Singapore, as well as arbitrations, mediations and High Court cases in London and arbitrations in Hong Kong.
Our Singapore office acts for some of the leading vessel owners and energy contractors, and handles a wide variety of projects including oil and gas projects, offshore renewable projects and vessel recycling.
