Lawyer Rankings(Next Generation Partners)
Wikborg Rein has cemented its position in the market with ‘its deep knowledge of the shipping industry on both wet and dry matters,’ including a significant number of casualties and maritime disputes. It also continues to evolve its standing in transactional and project matters, including in the offshore segment; specialist counsel Lesley Tan has transferred to Singapore from London to reinforce this side of the practice. The Singapore team has an impressive client base of international shipowners and insurers. Ina Lutchmiah leads the transactional practice in Asia Pacific, with a particular focus on LNG projects and offshore energy transactions. Robert Joiner impresses in dry side shipping disputes.
Following the relocation of Ina Lutchmiah from the London office in August 2019, Wikborg Rein‘s Singapore-based offering has been seeing a steady increase in instructions, particularly in the shipping and offshore sectors.
