Position

Eivind is deputy head of the firm’s competition law discipline. He is a versatile and experienced adviser in all types of competition law matters under Norwegian law and EU/EEA law. He has broad experience in handling large and complex competition cases from various industries. Since 2013 he has led the firm’s assistance in several high-profile cases before both Norwegian and foreign competition authorities, in cases concerning anti-trust investigations, related damages lawsuits, and merger cases. He also advises on the legality for various forms of collaboration, abuse of dominant position and competition law compliance. Eivind also has seven years’ experience from the Norwegian Competition Authority, in positions such as Head of Section and Deputy Director of Market Monitoring Department, as well as experience as a deputy judge. Eivind’s background and expertise make him a versatile and sought-after competition law expert. According to the renowned rating agency Legal 500, he is described as “a true expert in this field”.
