Position
Gunnar Meyer is a Partner at Wikborg Rein’s Oslo office and is part of the firm’s IP and Technology team. Meyer works with intellectual property matters. He is primarily engaged in patent and trademark litigation. As one of Norway’s most experienced patent litigators, Meyer has been involved in numerous matters regarding pharmaceutical and life science patents, and patents within electronics, oil & gas, green energy and fish farming. He has also been engaged in trademark litigation and litigation concerning protection of knowhow and business secrets.
He has extensively pleaded cases before the courts at all levels, including the Supreme Court. Meyer is recommended by Chambers and Partners as “Leaders in their field” in the category Intellectual Property. Meyer is admitted to the Norwegian Supreme Court and has appeared before this court in 15 cases.
