Position
Anne-Karin is specialising in international arbitration. She works within the field of petroleum and energy law, and has acted as counsel in several international arbitrations and negotiations in the gas sector, mainly representing gas buyers. She has also assisted clients on the coming EU regulatory framework for hydrogen. She also assists clients on insurance law. Anne-Karin has a doctorate from the University of Oslo. Her doctoral theses analyses the use of policy and legal instruments in EU’s secondary energy market legislation (special competition law). She previously worked at the Legislation Department of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, where she was responsible for the areas of transport, insurance, private international and company law. Anne-Karin speaks English and German.
