Position

Elaine Hanly is a Consultant in William Fry’s Banking & Financial Services Department. She advises on syndicated loans, structured finance transactions, large ticket leasing, PPP and project finance transactions, derivatives, debt capital market issues, securitisations and advises generally on the establishment of financial institutions in Ireland (including banking and agency treasury operations) and the regulatory regime.

The ‘diligent and personable‘ team at William Fry has an excellent reputation in the ECM space, with extensive experience of advising Irish public companies on IPOs and capital raisings, as well as in acting for underwriters. Myra Garrett and Mark Talbot are key contacts in the ECM team, which is particularly noted for its expertise in the technology sector. Other areas of expertise include corporate finance, project finance, and increasingly, fund finance. Highly experienced in complex domestic and cross-border matters, the firm expanded its national offering in 2019 with the opening of an office in Cork, which is led by new partner Laura Houlihan.
