Career
Christopher, a partner in our Scarborough office, has a genuine interest in farming and rural business affairs. He seeks to combine technical knowledge with commercial and practical understanding. Christopher has wide ranging experience in agricultural legal matters including acquisitions and sales (including multi-disciplinary corporate transactions), Agricultural Landlord & Tenant including FBTs and AHA 1986 Tenancies, 1986 Act succession matters, dispute resolution, dealing with sporting estates and forestry investments.
He has also specialised in agri-restructuring and agri-insolvency matters since 2002. This has included dealing with Government Departments including DEFRA and BCMS. He has a wealth of experience in advising corporate and individual creditors and debtors on the formal and informal options available to them and has acted for Insolvency Practitioners tasked with administering agricultural assets, including stock.
