Career

Sofía Rodríguez Torres joined Uría Menéndez in 2013 and from May 2017 to August 2018 worked in the firm’s São Paulo office.

Sofía has over seven years’ experience advising domestic and international clients on corporate, finance, maritime and transport law.

She regularly advises clients on corporate law, acquisitions and project finance, with a special focus on the maritime, port, transport and international trade sectors, advising clients on regulatory and general corporate matters. Sofía has also participated in several M&A transactions and has experience in cross-border matters with a particular focus on LATAM.

Sofía has been named a “rising star” by The Legal 500 in the Transport category in 2020 and 2021.
