Position

Equity Partner. Pietro Zanoni’s practice focuses on M&A and private equity, and he has extensive experience in all matters of corporate and commercial law, especially in the pharmaceutical, medical, food and fashion industries. He has been advising domestic and foreign private equity firms such as 21 Investimenti, Alcedo, Clessidra, Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners, Fondo Italiano di Investimento (now NeubergerBerman), Friulia Veneto Sviluppo, Gradiente, G Square, DeA Capital, Investcorp, Jacobs Holding, L Catterton (formerly L Capital), Palladio and TowerBrook; as well as industrial clients such as Aboca, Cartotecnica Goldprint, Guala Pack, Mar.Ter, IBM, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Mediolanum Farmaceutici, Megadyne, Marsh, MSC and Turbocoating.

Education

Pietro Zanoni obtained a Laurea in Giurisprudenza (J.D. equivalent) with honours from the University of Milan in 2000, and a Diplôme de Droit Comparé from the Faculté Internationale de Droit Comparé at the Université Robert Schuman of Strasbourg in 1999.  He also earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2004.
