Career

Pia Sökeland advises comprehensively on copyright, media law, and digital business. She particularly advises book and press publishing houses in all legal matters.

The design of contracts, in particular of copyright-relevant contracts, is a focus of her activity, as well as judicial and extrajudicial disputes regarding the personality right and the right to personal expression. To avoid disputes, she edits articles prior to their publication. In addition, she advises on the design and distribution of digital services (internet platforms, social media solutions, apps, e-books, digital press, and publishing), trademark and copyright of titles, as well as competition law.
