For more than 30 years, Audry Stévenart has been a successful lawyer at Stibbe and a valuable member of our Brussels public law and dispute resolution practices.

In particular, Audry has built up a wealth of expertise in litigation. As one of Stibbe’s top litigation experts, he handles cases in different branches of law, such as sports law and disputes regarding the performance of public, real estate and construction contracts. He follows judicial expertise up closely and represents clients in arbitration procedures. He also regularly acts as intervener in urgent (summary) proceedings before civil and commercial Belgian jurisdictions, and before arbitrators. Even though he acts as a fierce litigator in many cases, Audry opts for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) through mediation whenever possible. Based on his experience, his priority is to find the best out-of-court dispute resolution in order to avoid lawsuits. If this is not possible, he will always suggest taking legal action using the most efficient procedural route. In sports law, he represents clients before both the civil courts and the Belgian Court of Arbitration for Sports.
