Position

Niek advises (multinational) corporates, financial institutions, investment funds and other financial market participants on a broad range of debt financing transactions and associated (regulatory) matters.

He specialises in banking, capital markets, structured finance and securitisations, as well as regulatory issues in the financial markets. Niek acts for large Dutch and international corporates, financial institutions, investment funds and other financial market participants.

His experience includes advising borrowers and lenders on financings, intercreditor and hedging arrangements in a wide range of sectors.

Niek has a Master of Laws in Public International Law from Leiden University and a Master of Laws in International Banking and Finance from University College London (UCL). Before joining Stibbe in January 2021, Niek gained more than 6 years of experience at another international law firm.
