Career

Christoph Jirak has been part of the regulatory team since 2017. He specialises in environmental and public law, with a particular focus on plant approvals, commercial law and construction law. He focuses heavily on environmental impact assessment procedures in the infrastructure sector, particularly in the fields of renewable energy, industry or infrastructure. During his studies he also specialised in Public Commercial Law. Before joining Schoenherr, Vienna, Christoph worked as a paralegal for an international law firm based in Vienna for six years. He also gained valuable experience during a secondment to the legal department of a leading Austrian energy company.
