Marco Thorbauer has been with the firm since 2016. He has played a significant role in the development and expansion of the tax practice group over the last years. His main area of practice is national and international tax law, and he advises international companies on tax structuring and tax planning, transactions as well as tax proceedings. Before joining Schoenherr, Marco worked as an associate in an international law firm in Vienna and Frankfurt (2014-2016). In addition to his client work, he is also the author of numerous academic publications in the field of tax law.
