Partner Johan Häger is Head of the firm’s Finance & Restructuring practice. He is specialized in international finance transactions, including syndicated loans, leveraged finance, high yield and investment grade bonds as well as asset backed financings and structured finance. In addition to banking and debt capital markets, Johan has extensive experience in matters related to financial restructuring and pre-insolvency workouts acting for lenders as well as borrowers.

Johan Häger and Fredrik Rydin jointly lead Roschier’s insolvency team and handle the full spectrum of restructuring projects for international creditors including syndicated lending groups, bondholder committees and Nordic banks. Bond restructuring work is a particular area of strength for the group, leveraging the firm’s presence in the high-yield bond market; it also advises on complex bridge loans and hybrid debt structures. Mid and top-end distressed companies also engage the team on debt restructurings; recent engagements came from clients in the manufacturing and construction sectors.

The energy and infrastructure group at Roschier regularly advises on transactional work in the grid and district heating fields. Practice co-head Björn Winström and Markus Olsson handle investments, divestments and power asset transactions for a roster of oil and gas companies, private equity houses and institutional investors, while co-head Johan Häger deals with all manner of energy financing arrangements. Johan Sidklev leads the energy disputes practice, which recently acted in investment arbitrations, Energy Charter Treaty proceedings and general commercial litigation for energy clients.

Johan Häger and Pontus Enquist head up Roschier’s debt capital markets and equity capital markets teams respectively. The department’s client roster comprises underwriters and arrangers, corporate issuers, private equity sponsors and other stakeholders, which instruct the team on the full breadth of IPOs, public and private offerings and notes issuances. Ola Sandersson applies his corporate advisory and regulatory knowledge to capital markets transactions, and newly promoted partner Christoffer Benninge has a notable practice in handling rights issuances on the growth market.
