Position

Partner Johan Häger is Head of the firm’s Finance & Restructuring practice. He is specialized in international finance transactions, including syndicated loans, leveraged finance, high yield and investment grade bonds as well as asset backed financings and structured finance.

In addition to banking and debt capital markets, Johan has extensive experience in matters related to financial restructuring and pre-insolvency workouts acting for lenders as well as borrowers.

With wide-ranging experience which includes handling asset, real estate and project finance work, Johan Häger heads up the team. Veronica Stiller focuses on debt finance issues, especially leveraged, fund and asset-backed financings, while Harem Mahir has acquisition and corporate finance expertise and also regularly advises financial clients and insurance companies in relation to regulatory and derivatives matters; Mahir recently led on several matters involving sustainability-linked credit facilities. Roschier’s Stockholm-based capital markets practice handles a broad range of debt and equity transactions, including IPOs, private placements, high-yield and investment-grade bonds, and securitisations. The integrated team works closely with colleagues in the firm’s other departments as well as with law firms across Europe and the US to offer clients advice in relation to complex cross-border matters. DCM group head Johan Häger has considerable experience advising domestic and international banks, private equity investors, and large corporates, with expertise in the high-yield bond market. ECM practice head Pontus Enquist regularly represents sponsors, issuers, and underwriters in relation to IPOs and rights issuances. Ola Sandersson has recently led on re-domiciliation and IPO mandates, and Christoffer Benninge excels in ECM and public M&A work.

Roschier’s finance and restructuring team handles a wide range of restructuring and insolvency-related matters, specialising in out-of-court restructurings and distressed debt trading. The team has a strong reputation for handling debt restructurings across all debt tranches as well as for advising bond-financed companies in relation to bond restructurings. Practice head Johan Häger leverages his expertise in LBO financings and high-yield bonds to advise on cross-border restructurings and reorganisations. Senior adviser Carl Brodén boasts extensive restructuring and insolvency experience.
