Klint Klingberg-Jensen leads Poul Schmith´s offshore energy practice and advises on a range of aspects within the offshore industry, particularly on contracts, project execution and dispute resolution within the renewable energy sector.

Klint has a background as in-house counsel with both DONG Energy A/S (now Ørsted) and INEOS, in both positions working with strategic sourcing for large capex projects and dispute resolution. Klint has extensive hands-on experience in management of commercial and legal issues in large and technically complicated international projects, within both the oil & gas and renewable energy industries.

Klint is known for his ability to combine legal advice with practical implementation and always mindfully considering the commercial drivers of the processes involved in.

Klint represents national and international clients before the ordinary Danish courts, the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board and international arbitration tribunals.

Klint and his team has in recent years been involved in contracting for several offshore wind projects in Europe, APAC and the US.

Poul Schmith‘s energy supply and offshore energy department provide clients with the full range of advice across every major energy type, including natural gas, renewables, electricity, oil and gas, and water, handling issues along the entire energy value chain. In addition to the team’s core strength in traditional energy matters, utilities work, and infrastructure projects, it also has a deep-rooted knowledge of commercial projects. The team is co-led by Klint Klingberg-Jensen, who advises on a wide range of offshore matters; Sune Fugleholm, who is the primary adviser to the Danish Government regarding the energy and utility sectors; and public law expert Jesper Nørøxe.
