Mr Ruben van Arkel
Ruben van Arkel is an established name in the fields of employment law, civil service law and pension law. He works for various governmental clients, several pension funds and (publicly held) employers. Ruben often advises large employers, such as some of the top universities in The Netherlands, on issues regarding the legal position of directors. Ruben is one of the leading specialists in the Netherlands in the field of Equal Treatment and is therefore a valued member of the Dutch Employment Law Association’s Equal Treatment Working Group. He has been a lecturer in employment law (equal treatment) at the prestigious Grotius Academie since 2015 and also lectures for the postgraduate course in employment law at the Erasmus Academie (PALA). Ruben is a valued member of the specialist Dutch Employment Lawyers Association. He regularly publishes articles in leading professional journals and frequently speaks on seminars.
