Larissa Silverentand and Frans Van Der Eerden co-head the team, which acts for numerous Dutch and international clients, and is particularly noted for its expertise in real estate and mortgage funds. It handles a broad cross-section of matters for clients, such as fund structuring and formation, regulatory advice and assistance with asset management arrangements. In 2020, van der Eerden led the advice to Syntrus Achmea Real Estate and Finance B.V. on the set-up of the Achmea Mortgages Investment Platform for investments in Dutch mortgage loans. Elsewhere, the practice has seen an uptick in sustainability-related work and it is also increasingly active in private equity fund investments in the Dutch financial sector.
