Susan is a partner in the Contruction team at Mason Hayes & Curran LLP. Susan spends a lot of her time dealing with disputes in conciliation which is the most widely used form of dispute resolution for public projects in Ireland.

Susan advises the education sector in particular in relation to building projects. She acts for a number of education trusts and management bodies as well as a large number of individual education institutions at primary, secondary and third level. Susan is the Chairperson of the Síol board which is responsible for the legal, financial and property matters of the Le Chéile Trust, one of the largest voluntary catholic secondary schools trusts.

Susan also has vast experience in construction cases in the High Court and has particular expertise dealing with litigation relating to defective developments. Susan acts for a large number of management companies/ homeowners in litigation relating to defects in developments constructed over the last 10 – 15 years. Susan has been and is currently involved in several high profile litigation cases relating to defective developments for example the litigation relating to fire defects at Longboat Quay in Dublin and Beacon South Quarter in Sandyford.
