Thomas Holst Laursen is a partner in our Corporate Finance team and has extensive experience in large complex transactions within private and public M&A, capital markets transactions (IPOs, etc) as well as transactions involving financing through other convertible securities, bonds, and securitisation.

Thomas has been active in all areas of transactions within a range of sectors. Clients include private equity and venture funds, investment banks and listed companies as well as international clients operating in Denmark.

In addition to transactional work, Thomas also provides advice to boards of directors, including in relation to disclosure obligations and corporate governance.

Thomas has worked with cross-border/international transactions globally.

Over recent years Thomas has been mostly active in the pharmaceutical, energy and financial sectors.

Plesner is a key name for public M&A transactions, equity capital markets work, IPOs and rights issuances for companies and securities listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen and international stock exchange markets. The group also assists with takeover procedures, accelerated bookbuilds (ABBs) and private investment in public equity (PIPE) deals. Thomas Holst Laursen and Nicolai Ørsted jointly lead the ECM practice, while Thomas Maaberg Hansen heads up the DCM group. Henrik Laursen is also a noteworthy practitioner and has expertise in debt to equity restructurings for listed corporations. Clients include telecoms corporations, pension funds and capital markets companies.
