Mads Berg is a partner, attorney-at-law and MSc in Business Administration and Commercial Law in Plesner’s Real Estate team.

Mads is highly experienced in M&A transactions within real estate (purchase as well as sales authority), property development projects, lease of real property, legal due diligence along with structuring of property funds and private equity funds.

Throughout his career, Mads has as lead attorney provided advisory services for major portfolio transactions and large single asset transactions. Mads advises a wide range of customers, including Danish and international property funds and private equity funds, pension funds and developers.

In addition, Mads is engaged in company law issues, including in particular Danish limited partnerships (kommanditselskaber), and he has also published a number of articles on this subject.

Earlier in his career Mads was posted with the Nordic asset manager and private equity fund NREP A/S (December 2013 – March 2014), where he worked with the transaction team of NREP A/S. And he has also been posted with the pan-European private equity fund and asset manager M7 Real Estate Ltd. in London (September 2014 – August 2015), where Mads was a part of the Investment Management Team of M7, and he participated in a number of property transactions, takeover and delisting of a listed property fund, setup of several new fund structures as well as acquisition financing and refinancing.
