Partner – head of Banking & Finance practice
Prokopis Dimitriadis heads our Banking & Finance practice and is also a leading member of our M&A, Capital Markets, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, and Real Estate practices where he has established a reputation for developing practical solutions that get the deal done.
He has wide-ranging experience in advising on and executing major transactions involving funds, institutional investors and large corporates – from both the buy and sell side – and in structuring complex financing arrangements for domestic and international clients. Prokopis has first-class drafting skills in English and is accustomed to working on projects where finance documentation is written under Greek and English law.
Prokopis is listed in Chambers Europe for Banking Finance, Dispute Resolution and Insolvency/Restructuring.
In addition to his transactional and financial work, Prokopis is skilled in international commercial arbitration under the ICC rules. He has also extensive knowledge of domestic arbitration rules under the Greek Code of Civil Procedure. He is currently the legal counsel of ICC Hellas, the Greek chapter of the ICC.

Lambadarios Law Firm acts for a varied client roster, including financial institutions and corporates, on liquidations, internal restructurings, increases and reductions of registered share capital as well as on regulatory and compliance requirements and ancillary agreements, including shareholder and management agreements. Significant work includes acting for DEPA S.A. on the due diligence, documentation and negotiations of its demerger corporate transformation amounting to €1bn. Lambadarios Law Firm offers a wide range of advice on finance and capital markets matters, with a particular focus on project and acquisition finance, NPLs, and transactional and regulatory capital markets work. Managing partner Constantinos Lambadarios heads the team alongside Prokopis Dimitriadis, who leads the banking and international finance group, Yannis Kourniotis, an expert in project finance, and Kostas Botopoulos, who leads the capital markets and banking departments. The arrival of project and structured finance specialist Konstantina Siozou, who joined the partnership from Watson Farley & Williams – Greek Branch in March 2021, has further strengthened the practice.
Lambadarios Law Firm acts for a wide client base on projects, including public bodies, sponsors, lenders, investors and multilaterals. The sizeable team covers the full spectrum of financing and non-financing work involving energy and infrastructure projects, notably concession agreements, exploration contacts, PPAs, PPPs and PFIs, land acquisitions, EPC and public procurement. The experienced Yannis Kourniotis, Constantinos Lambadarios, George Panopoulos and Prokopis Dimitriadis jointly lead the practice. An additional name to note is Magdalini Christina Vlachou Vlachopoulou, who assisted the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund with the €2bn Athens Ring Road Project.
