The firm advises both borrowers and lenders, with particular strength in the real estate and private equity space on the borrower side, and counts a number of international banks and financial institutions among its clients. The banking practice is led by Freya Mareels, who advises on a diverse range of lending and financing transactions, and was bolstered by the arrival of Thomas Vanthournout from Baker McKenzie CVBA/SCRL in early 2021.
