Career

Jens has conducted several landmark cases before the Danish Competition Council and the Danish Competition Appeals Tribunal, and has also handled criminal competition cases. He has an impressive track record before the Danish Competition Appeals Tribunal where the Competition Group has a success rate of more than 80%. He takes a pragmatic and commercial approach to finding value-adding solutions that swiftly meet each client's commercial needs. Jens has been head of Kromann Reumert's Brussel's office from 1997-1998. He became a partner in 2000.

Education

Jens obtained his law degree (cand.jur.) from the University of Copenhagen in 1990, and sub-sequently an LL.M. from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1994.

Kromann Reumert advises on merger control matters, competition disputes and state aid issues; recent mandates include practice head Jens Munk Plum assisting Berlingske Media with its complaint against JP/Politiken Hus’ acquisition of the daily newspaper Børsen, and handling KPMG Denmark's merger with EY Denmark; and Erik Bertelsen defending Dong Energy against a damages claim brought by the competition authorities alleging excessive pricing. TDC and Novo are also clients. Other key figures include Morten Kofmann, Bart A. Creve and Jeppe Lefevre Olsen.
