Position

Luís has participated in several corporate restructuring processes and collective dismissal proceedings, providing day-to-day advice in all areas of employment and social security law. Legal counsel on labour and social security litigation. Member of the group who prepared the 2003 Labour Code Project.

Career

Qualified (1990). Partner (2006) and co-coordinator of the employment department. Former Assistant Professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon (1988-2001) and at the Superior Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the Tecnhical University (2003-2006). Teacher in several Postgraduate Studies in Labour and Social Security Law organized by the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon, Law Faculty of the Nova University, the Law Faculty of the Catholic University of Oporto and the Superior Institute of the Languages and Administration (ISLA). Member of the Group created by the XV Constitutional Government in charge of the preparation of the new Labour Code.
