The team at Hannes Snellman was bolstered in 2019 by the arrival of the new practice head Pontus Ewerlöf, Martin Rifall and managing associate Andreas Johard from MAQS Advokatbyrå. Newly promoted partner Anna-Maria Tamminen divides her time between Helsinki and Stockholm and recently represented the Polish government before the Svea Court of Appeal in its challenge to multiple awards regarding the alleged expropriation of foreign investments under a bilateral investment treaty. Another name to note is David Ackebo, who is also experienced in corruption investigations.
